When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Number of tasks
The number of tasks in a study can vary greatly depending on the predefined session duration and the length and complexity of the tasks.
Stakeholders may project the amount of time it should take a user to complete a set of tasks. However, they typically don't account for session setup and teardown time, nor the post-task or post-session survey questions. Their expectation of the time needed to complete a task may also be skewed because they might be basing it on the time it would take them, which is usually the time an expert user would take rather than a novice user, since the stakeholders work closely with the product. Time can also be different for someone who runs through the task in a test setting (merely clicking through) ...
