Providing a clear starting point for each task

The task description must clearly indicate how or where to start the task. Stakeholders often adopt an internal naming system to refer to pages within the product. These names are not always clear to outsiders who have no knowledge of the product. Instead of using these naming conventions, a task should include the URL, if applicable, or a screenshot of the page or screen to ensure that all participants understand where to start a task.
