Long tasks
Some tasks, such as a multistep onboarding task or a digital checkout, cover a longer user journey. If the participant completes the entire task and only gets to answer questions after the entire task has been completed, they may not remember all the details, especially of their experience during the earlier part of the task.
Consider a checkout process, starting with adding an item to the cart and ending with a completed purchase. This multistep process can be broken down into subtasks, such as adding an item to the cart, updating the cart, and checking out. The checkout itself can include entering the billing, shipping and payment information, making the purchase, and reviewing the confirmation.
