Expectations
It is expected that participants that commit to participating in the study complete the study, follow the instructions, do their best in completing the tasks, and give feedback that is honest and reflects their perceptions and opinions. Those expectations should be communicated to the participants.
In many studies, it is important not to share with the possible participants who commissioned the study in order to avoid participant bias. This is especially important in competitive studies.
