I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Assign a severity
When confronted with a bunch of recommendations for improvement, it is useful to understand which cause the user the most problems and ensure that these are addressed in a prioritized manner. In order to be able to do so, the UX researcher should assign severity levels to their recommendations.
The severity levels should take the following into consideration:
- The frequency (whether it happens very often or very rarely; how many participants were impacted)
- The criticality (what the impact is if the user is hindered by this issue)
- The persistence (whether the user can learn to overcome the issue or will be continuously confronted with it)
