It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Examples are Amazon or Starbucks in the United States and other countries, Rakuten in Japan, or Tesco in the UK and Ireland. They are a good option when payment information is not available; for instance, when recruiting through your network or ads.
