Did anyone encounter bugs?
We would be the first to step up and emphatically state that a UX study is not Quality Assurance, which is aimed at finding bugs, but how the product under testing recovers from a defect is quite interesting from a usability perspective. We had a participant once who struggled for ten minutes, unsuccessfully trying and retrying to enter her email address in a web form. Eventually, it worked and she continued with the task thinking that she had done something wrong. She hadn't. There was a bug in the website that made the entry of the email address work intermittently.
