The LDAP Record Producer creates several different records necessary to pull in and processuser and group information from this LDAP source. The default settings for these records are different depending on whether you choose Active Directory or Other in Record Producers:
- The LDAP Server record contains the information about which server to connect to and what username and password is needed.
- Linked to these are two LDAP OU Definition fields, one for Users and another for Groups. These provide filters and further search criteria to select the appropriate objects.
