Next is the index or home page. This involves a few more steps, since the design is more demanding:
- Let's create another new page. Click on Hotel Catalog at the top of Service Portal Designer.
- Click on Add a new Page, fill out the two fields, and click on Submit.
- Page Title: Hotel Home
- Page Id: hotel_home
- The first element on the home page is the background image. We can use the default container on the page for this.
- Click on the box in the main window (not the plus button) so the pencil icon appears on the right. Click the pencil icon, and the container form dialog should appear. Fill out the form as follows and click on Save:
- Name: Welcome image
- Background image: <upload hello.jpg>
- Background style: Cover
