Applying an Update Set

Once an Update Set has been moved into an instance, the configuration stored within it can be replayed. This will alter the instance as you require by deleting records, adding fields, and altering forms, depending on what the Update Set contains. The instance to which the Update Set is applied to is known as the target system, while the instance from which the Update Set comes is the source.

Applying an Update Set may cause huge changes to your system. It will replay the instructions inside it, which may include deleting tables, changing field types, and changing core configuration
