I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
ETHICAL GUIDELINES FOR AN EFFECTIVE MENTORING PROGRAMME
To ensure that the mentoring programme of the organizations yields results, it is necessary to follow certain ethical guidelines. Such ethical approaches may vary from organizations to organizations. Even then, we can follow certain generic ethical guidelines:
- Ensure discussion between the mentor and the mentee. Such discussions may be continuous, may be conducted at length, so that the relations between the mentor and the mentee strengthens.
- Both the mentor and the mentee should respect each other's time.
- The mentoring process should facilitate in achieving the mentees’ goals, and not the goals of the mentors.
- Mentors must be sensitive to diversity and cultural issues while mentoring. ...
