Wynn Resorts concluded its fourth quarter of 2014 with a 32 and 5.8 percent decrease in revenues from fourth quarter 2013 in Macau and Las Vegas, respectively—blamed on a poor economy and a government crackdown on high-end gambling in China. A new smoking ban proposed in 2015 in Macau is also expected to hinder revenues if formally passed. Wynn currently has two main projects in the works: Wynn Palace in Macau with a cost totaling $4.1 billion and expected to open on Cotai in 2016, and the Wynn Project in Massachusetts.
