For Q2 of 2015, TASER generated revenues of $46.7 million, an increase of 25.7 percent from the second quarter of 2014. For Q2, revenues from TASER’s Weapons segment increased 15.8 percent year-over-year to $37.8 million. However, the company’s higher smart weapon sales were partly offset by a decrease in sales of legacy TASER X26 CEW, which was retired from production as of December 31, 2014. For Q2, the company’s AXON and EVIDENCE.com revenues increased 97.5 percent to $8.9 million, due largely to a 226.1 percent increase in service revenues. TASER’s Q2 profits were up 57 percent from last year, and sales of Axon on-body police cameras nearly doubled, from $4.4 billion to $8.9 million.
