(a) Stable Environment
A stable environment is one with little or no unexpected or sudden change. However, it is difficult to find stable environment because of changes in technology, society and other spheres.
(b) Changing Environment
In a changing environment, innovation may occur in product, market, law, or technology. Such changes are, however, unlikely to take the top managers of the organisation completely by surprise.
