4.4 OVERCOMING RESISTANCE TO CHANGE

A manager need not always be saddled with the task of change in organisations where resistance is strongly prevalent. He is wedded to some techniques to overcome resistance. One thing he should keep in mind is not to underestimate the variety of ways people react to change, and the ways they can positively influence specific individuals and groups during the change process.

Change creates tension and emotional turmoil in the minds of employees.
