So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
3.11.1 Organisational Efficiency and Effectiveness
The above analysis offers an interesting opportunity to differentiate between two terms: organisational efficiency and organisational effectiveness with the change. It is suggested that efficiency be a measure of performance quality within a task. In other words, organisational efficiency is concerned with how well an organisation performs a given task.
Organisational effectiveness can be taken to mean a measure of the quality of relationship of an organisation with its environment. Paradoxically, an organisation may be effective (a viable relationship with its environment) but inefficient (internally wasteful).
