6.3 STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT OF CHANGE
Strategic management of change is defined as a continuous, iterative process, aimed at keeping an organisation as a whole appropriately matched to its environment.
The definition of strategic management of change we have proposed emphasises that managers engage in a series of steps. These steps, which we will discuss individually, are (Fig. 6.1):
