When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

人間の理解の次にデザインで大事なことは、ビジネスの理解だ。UXの実践者の多く
がここで迷子になる。人間とピクセルのことだけしか考えていないからだ。
企業が置かれた状態は同じものが 1つとしてなく、かつ、変わり続けている（その変化
の速度もまた企業によって異なる）。顧客を同じくする競合企業であっても、決定的に違う
ことがある。良い戦略は、競合と差別化し、競合の進化に合わせて変化を試 みる。
それゆえ、UXは1 度やれば終わるタスクではなく、プロセスになる。常に適応し続けて
いなければ、古びた情報に基づいて、検討はずれのものをつくってしまう。以前はまとも
なデザインだったものが、世の中の移り変わりについてゆけずおかしなものになってしまっ
ていることもある。そして、なにより人間のための解決策であり続けなければならない。
