Minions (enemies)

We're going to talk about the bad guys in depth later. Enemies, monsters, aliens, dire animals; they all want to stop the player achieving her goal. Their function in a game is to offer a player a challenge to overcome, to stop her, and even kill her character.

But it's not that simple. Creating interesting and unique enemies is an art to be mastered. Their ultimate goal is surely to stop the player, but the real question is how they would do that. We'll have a closer look later in this chapter!
