Write incrementally by drafting

Draft to understand the problem and write to solve it. Start writing your GDD as soon as possible and with no particular attention to detail. Make bullet points and outlines to identify the problem and use mind maps. Sometimes, even something that is clear in your mind can show its pitfalls and obscure points only when it is written in black on white. Solutions will come easily if the problem solving is part of the writing, especially when you are stuck trying to solve one problem only in your mind.
