I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Instrukcja printf jest dostępna w interpreterze bash od wersji 2.02 i składa się z dwóch elementów (poza samą nazwą polecenia): ciągu formatu oraz zmiennej liczby parametrów.
printf ciąg-formatu [parametry]
Człon ciąg-formatu opisuje zasady formatowania tekstu. Zazwyczaj jest ciągiem tekstowym otoczonym znakami cudzysłowu. Fragment parametry odpowiada liście wartości, zazwyczaj liście ciągów tekstowych lub wartości zmiennych, które odnoszą się do ciągu formatu.
W razie potrzeby ciąg formatu jest wykorzystywany tyle razy, ile jest to konieczne, aby wyczerpać wszystkie parametry. Jeśli jest w nim wymienionych więcej pól niż dostarczonych parametrów, nadmiarowe odwołania zostaną zinterpretowane jako wartości zerowe lub ciągi puste. ...
