I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Problem
Chcemy skrócić długą lub skomplikowaną nazwę często wykorzystywanego polecenia bądź zmienić nazwę polecenia tak, aby było ono łatwiejsze do zapamiętania lub wyszukania z zastosowaniem pewnych kryteriów dopasowania.
Rozwiązanie
Nigdy nie należy zmieniać nazw plików wykonywalnych, gdyż funkcjonowanie wielu modułów systemu Unix lub Linux zależy od dostępności określonych poleceń, a tym samym od składowania ich plików wykonywalnych w określonych katalogach. Właściwe rozwiązanie polega na utworzeniu aliasu, funkcji lub dowiązania symbolicznego.
Zgodnie z informacjami zawartymi w dokumentacji interpretera bash, „mechanizm aliasów zapewnia wstawienie ciągu tekstowego w miejsce pierwszego słowa zwykłego polecenia. ...
